The JEMAT is known as Joint Entrance Management Aptitude Test. This is a state-level entrance exam. Every year, the JEMAT exam is conducted by theMaulana Abdul Kalam Azad University of Technology, the university is located in West Bengal. The JEMAT exam is a pen and paper-based exam which will be held two times a year through offline mode. Applicants who want to take admission in MHA, MBA, and other PG diploma courses then can apply for this exam.

Eligibility

Only Indian Citizenship applicants can apply for the JEMATexam.
The minimum qualification required for admission into MHA/MBA/ PG Diploma courses is a Graduation degree in Science/ Arts/ Engineering/ Commerce/ Dental/Medical/Technology/Agriculture or other professional programs from the recognized universities. 
The candidates who are appearing in the final exam may also apply.
There are no upper and lower age limit criteria to appear for the JEMAT exam.

Exam Pattern

JEMAT entrance exam will be held through offline mode
The exam duration will be two hours
The total number of questions is 100
1 mark will be allotted for the right answer
0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer

Exam Paper

The JEMAT entrance exam contains only one exam paper
There are three sections in the exam paper

Exam Application Process

To start the registration process of JEMAT application form, applicants need to provide their basic details like gender, mobile number, category, name, email ID, etc.
Once the registration process is completed, then applicants will get login credentials on their email ID and mobile number.
Next, applicants must have to sign in using their login credentials 
The main JEMAT application form will be available on the screen.
On this page, applicants must have to enter their complete academic details, personal details, and contact details.
Applicants also need to upload their scanned images like photographs and signatures.
In the next step, applicants also need to pay their application fee through online mode.

Registration Fees of JEMAT Exam:

  • For OBC and General category applicants- Rupees 600
  • For PWD/ ST/ SC category applicants- Rupees 300

Selection process of JEMAT Exam:

  • The selection process of the JEMAT exam will be based on the three stages- Exam, Group Discussion, Personal Interview, and Counseling process. 
  • Applicants who cleared the JEMAT entrance exam will be then called for the GD and PI round
  • Only those applicants can participate in the Counseling process who clear the GD & PI round
  • Only those applicants get selected for the JEMAT entrance exam who clear all the above stages

Exam Center

The JEMAT entrance exam will be held into four centers. Applicants can choose their exam center at the time of filling application form.
