Introduction

ASBM University, originally known as the Asian School of Business Management, was founded in 2006 as a private B-School. It makes management education more accessible in Odisha. Professor Dr. Biswajeet Pattanayak founded this institute. The institute was elevated to the status of university in 2019. ASBM (Asian School of Business Management) is a private institution. ABSM is acknowledged by NBA, AICTE, ACBSP, and SAQS. It offers eight degree and doctorate programmes in Business Analytics, Management, Communication and Digital Media, and other disciplines. Asian School of Business Management is a pioneer in research and innovation, in conjunction to having a solid teaching style.

Asian School of Business Management places importance on activities outside of the classroom, as seen by its infrastructure, extracurricular activities, and national and international connections. Admission

The University accepts applications online through its official website. To apply for admission to ASBM University, candidates must first register and complete an application form.

The following are the specifics of the course-specific selection process:

For admission to the BBA programme, the University administers an in-house offline entrance exam.
Candidates seeking admission to the University's MBA programme must take the XAT/ CMAT/ CAT/ MAT/ OJEE /GMAT.
Candidates seeking PhD admission must have a valid UGC NET/ CSIR NET score, followed by a university-level Personal Interview (PI) round.
Admission to all remaining UG and PG programmes is based on the merit of the prior qualifying degree/exam.
The university provides final-year students with complete placement help.

Q1. Can I work while studying at ASBM University?

Ans. ASBM University offers several full-time programmes and you are not permitted to work during the course of your studies.

Q2. What are the qualifying requirements for the B.Sc (ITM) ASBM University?

Ans. Eligibility criteria for admission to the B.Sc (ITM) is 10+2 Science or equivalent with Maths and at least 50% marks (45% for reserved) from an acknowledged board. OR, three-year diploma in engineering with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved) from State Council of Technical Education and Vocational Training-accredited institution. Students in their last year of study are also eligible to apply.

Ans. ASBM University is giving scholarships from the entrance batch 2021-22, subject to eligibility and other requirements. There will be two scholarship schemes, one for MBA students and the other for students in all University programmes other than MBA and Ph.D.

70% or similar CGPA in 10th, 12th, and Graduation	INR. 50,000
65% or similar CGPA in 10th, 12th, and Graduation	INR. 25,000

Domicile Students of Odisha:

Q5. What are the necessary papers required during registration process?

Ans. The documents required are: Marksheets for 10th and 12th, .
Marksheet for Graduation, Entrance Exam Scorecard, Migration Certificate, Transfer Certificate and Caste Certificate.
