Introduction

NIE is a private institute established in the year 1946. It got recognized by Karnataka Government under private aided institution status. The college provides 7 undergraduate, 11 postgraduate and 5 diploma degree in Engineering. NIE is a recognized by QIP Research Centre of AICTE and VTU. It has received 101th rank among other engineering college present by NRF and also been ranked 22nd among India’s top 100 Engineering Colleges, by Outlook magazine in 2017. The college handles research projects of central & state government, VTU, ISRO etc. It is having a well designed academic block, library, laboratories, auditorium, cafeteria & medical facilities for students.
