Introduction

Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce offers specially modulated 3-year programs in Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Arts and 2-year programs in Masters, Diploma, and Certificate courses in Liberal Arts under the Symbiosis Center for Liberal Arts (SCLA), an initiative of Symbiosis Arts and Commerce College.

Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce also offers a "Degree with Honours" program for B.A. /B.Com. students with effect from the 2014-2015 academic year. This program aims to create a unique educational program that combines intensive knowledge of the field together with the practical skills needed to increase the employability of students.

Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce now offers an ACCA (Association of Chartered Accountants) course in addition to graduate programs, enabling students to gain certification at an international level. The content and values of the course are tailored to the needs of employers in all sectors. Studying at Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce gives you the advantage of belonging to an internationally recognized institution as well as a multicultural, interdisciplinary academic student community. The college has an extensive library with access to online resources, the latest information software and Wi-Fi, a gymnasium, medical and health services, and a Food Court.

Highlights

Symbiosis International Cultural Center was established in 1971 to cater to foreign students studying in India and provide them with a "home away from home". It has evolved from a cultural center into a renowned educational family with a host. institutions offering quality education from pre-primary to doctoral programs.
Founding Director Dr. S. B. Mujumdar believed that education is the best means of inculcating international understanding among students. He hoped that Symbiosis students would become goodwill ambassadors for our country.
He envisioned a multicultural campus where students from different parts of the world would study together, live together, and play together. Even today, he believes that Symbiosis students serve the world well by returning to their countries and fulfilling their potential to become true ambassadors of goodwill.
A true manifestation of symbiosis, a botanical term meaning "different species living together for mutual benefit". Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce is proud to be a part of this family.
The college was established in 1983 and recently celebrated its silver jubilee. We are under Savitribai Phule Pune University and have students from around 36 Afro-Asian countries and almost all the states of India. All these students learn appreciation and tolerance for different cultures as they all study, play, and live together.

Admission

All admissions will be based on merit and as per Govt reservation policy. from Maharashtra.
The college also admits foreign students (Foreign National, P.I.O., NRI, etc.) to the extent of 15% of the intake capacity under the supernumerary quota. Hence these 15% of seats will be reserved for foreign students (Foreigners, P.I.O., NRI, etc.). These admissions are beyond the approved strength and will be processed through the Symbiosis Center for International Education.
Two seats are reserved for students from the state of Jammu and Kashmir for each program. These admissions are beyond sanctions.
Ten seats are reserved under the Prime Minister's Special Scholarship Scheme (PMSSS). These admissions are beyond sanctions.
One place in F.Y. B.A. and two seats in F.Y. B.Com. per State out of eight North East Indian States i.e. a total of eight seats for F.Y. B.A. and 16 seats for F.Y. B.Com. they are reserved for North East Indian states.

Symbiosis School Of Arts And Commerce Admission Process

The admission process will be started after the declaration of 12 standard results of various boards like HSC/CBSE/ISCE etc tentatively in the month of July.
A student must register by completing the Pre-Merit online application. The form will be available on our school website.
When filling out the Pre-Merit application, the student must enter the total number of points secured from all subjects (Aggregated percentage) and other required information. The college does not consider percentages based on the best of 4 or best of 5 subjects.
The student has to pay the Pre-merit processing fees through online payment mode only.
Then the student has to check the timetable for the merit list.

Eligibility Criteria

Below are the eligibility criteria for Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce Admission 2023.

For admission to undergraduate courses in the college, candidates must have passed 10+2 from ICSE or CBSE or any such recognized board.
For admission in the B.Com course, applicants must have passed 10 + 2 with commerce stream and mathematics should be chosen as a relevant subject from ICSE or CBSE or any such recognized board.
