Introduction

Sitamarhi Institute of Technology (also known as SIT) is a public engineering College located in Sitamarhi district of Bihar. The institute was established in the year 2016 by the Government of Bihar. It is fully funded by the Bihar government and administered by the Department of Science and Technology, Patna. It is affiliated to Aryabhatta Knowledge University, Patna. All India Council for Technical Education has also approved the programmes offered by the SIT. It offers Diploma courses which are recognized by the Government of Bihar. The courses offered by the institute are Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Computer Science & Engineering
