Admission

The Application form can be filled in both offline and online modes. Selection is done on the basis of academic achievement.

Steps to Apply Online:

  • Visit Sambalpur University's official website.
  • Select "Admission” and then select "application form."
  • Fill the form with the required information.
  • Attach the required documents and Submit.
  • Now the payment link appears, so pay the fee online.
  • The candidate can pay the application form costs in two ways: online or in cash at Jana Seva Kendra.

 

Steps to Apply for Offline / Distance Education:

  • Applicant can obtain the online admission form from the DDCE website.
  • After filling up the forms, take a printout and mail it to the DDCE office at Sambalpur University along with supporting papers and a bank challan for the required fee.

Deadline for Application form without late fee  4th week of November 2022
Deadline for Application form with late fee 4th week of December, 2022

Eligibility Criteria Of Sambalpur University

The most important factor in the Sambalpur University Admission Process is the Eligibility Criteria. These criteria include educational qualifications, nationality and so on. Students who do not meet the educational and age requirements will be ineligible for the next stage of the admissions process. As a result, ensure that you meet the University's requirements.

Courses Eligibility
BA / BCA / B.Com 10+2 from an acknowledged board with minimum 45% marks
 MBA Graduation from an acknowledged university with min. 50% marks. CAT/GATE/XAT/GMAT scores will be considered.
PG Diploma Graduation degree with min. 50% marks. Entrance exams depend on the specialization, the student is opting for.
 MCA Graduation from an acknowledged university with Mathematics at 10+2 level
 MCA Lateral Entry  PGDIT / PGDCA or similar from an acknowledged university OR DOEACC “O” Level post-Graduation OR B.Sc. (Computer Science, IT) / BCA or similar with IT/Computer science as a major subject, from an acknowledged university
