Introduction

RGU or Rajiv Gandhi University is also called Arunachal University. It is one of the oldest universities in Arunachal Pradesh state. The university offers various postgraduate courses in more than thirty-nine disciplines with the PG Diploma, M.Phil, and Ph.D. programs. There are approx. 35 colleges affiliated with this university and are spread across the whole state. The admission to different courses will be initiated in every month of June & July. Applicants who are seeking admission to this university then they can apply online mode by visiting its official website.

Apart from this, the university also imparts education in multiple fields through distance learning. There are 60% seat reserves for the UG and PG programs for ST candidates. While 9% seats for OBC, 3% for the SC category, 3% for differently-abled categories, and 5% for wards of Ex-servicemen candidates. Other seats left 20% seats are open for other category candidates.

The RGU offers three years of a bachelor of arts programs at the UG level. Applicants who are seeking admission should have completed the intermediate exam from the recognized board with English as a mandatory subject. All the seats will be allotted based on obtained marks in intermediate.

The RGU university also provides two year Master of Arts programs with 5 specializations at PG level. To pursue this course applicants need to passed graduation degree from the recognized university. Selection process will be done on the basis of obtained marks in the Graduation degree.

The selection process will be based on obtained marks in graduation.

Aspiring applicants can get a prospectus to fill the application form directly from the university or University’s head office.

Fill the form with correct information and then attach all required and important documents along with the Demand Draft in the favour of the Registrar's office at Rajiv Gandhi University, payable.

Applicants can also pay their application fee through the NEFT to the Institute of Distance Education, at the A/c No. 880201010001672 with IFSC code.

Make sure the copy of the deposit slip and UTR No. is to be submitted along with admission forms.
