PRAVARA RURAL ENGINEERING COLLEGE (PREC) is a renowned engineering institute located in Loni, Maharashtra, India. The institute commenced its academics in the year 1983. It is a self-funded private educational institution. It is affiliated to the Savitribai Phule University of Pune (Formerly known as Pune University or Poona University). It is recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, New Delhi. The institute accepts admission for the courses offered only through Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted every year. CET is a national level entrance test and its centers are throughout India.
