IIT JAM Exam 2023: Expected Exam Dates

The registration process for IIT JAM 2023 will start on 7, September and will end on 11, October 2022. Willing applicants can visit the website to apply for the IIT JAM exam.

As per the website, the IIT JAM ( Indian Institute of Technology Joint Admissions Test for Masters) will be started on 12, February 2023. According to the schedule released by the Indian Institute of Technology, the authority has released the official dates of the IIT JAM exam.

IIT JAM 2023 will be a Computer Based Test (CBT) national-level entrance exam and the exam will be conducted in seven different subjects Economics, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Mathematics, Mathematical Statistics, Physics, and Geology. The questions will be fully objective type with three types of questions Numerical Answer Types, Multiple Choice Questions, and Multiple Select Questions.

JAM, 2023, test has been divided into two parents. The forenoon session will have Mathematics, Geology, and Chemistry. And after soon session will have Physics, Economics, Biotechnology, and Mathematical Statistics. The JAM 2023 result will be released on 22 March 2023 and the online application for admission on 11 April and conclude on 25 April of next year.

The IIT JAM application fees will be Rupees 1800 for one test paper while Rupees 2500 for two test papers. While for female applicants from ST, SC, and PWD categories will be Rupees 900 for one test paper and Rupees 1250 for test papers. The application fee is non-refundable. Applicants can appear for either one or two exam papers.

Eligibility Criteria for IIT JAM exam:

Applicants must have to complete a UG degree from the recognized university
Appearing applicants in their final year of UG degree can also apply
Make sure the proof of UG degree must be submitted on or before 30, September 2023
Applicants who don’t have a mark sheet will have to produce a certificate stating all subjects studied in year/ semester with a duly signed signature by the Head office of the Institute.

Valid ID Proof
