Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken a decision to overcome the shortage of para-medical staff in government and private medical colleges of the state. It is for the first time in the state that the joint entrance examination of B.Sc Nursing will be conducted.
With the help of this about 8,000 students will get admission in government and private nursing colleges of the state. The deadline for applying is 15th July, 2022.
The candidate who wish to appear in this recruitment examination can apply by visiting the official website. The examination can be organized in the last week of July. There are total 35 government and 30 private medical colleges in the state.
To over-come the shortage of nursing staff nurses are been called from Kerala and Karnataka. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has decided that on the lines of NEET, only one entrance examination of B.Sc Nursing colleges will be conducted simultaneously in the entire state.
Earlier, KGMU was going to conduct a separate entrance examination from its level, which was stopped.
The Medical Education Department has said that the Yogi government plans to establish B.Sc Nursing College in every government medical college. At present, new nursing colleges have been approved for the study of B.Sc Nursing in seven districts Prayagraj, Gorakhpur, Kannauj, Agra, JIMS Greater Noida, Ram Manohar Lohia Institute, Lucknow and Jhansi.
