Admission

Follow the given online admission procedure for the National Institute of Technology Durgapur:-

Required Documents:

  • Class 10th Mark sheet
  • Class 12th Mark sheet
  • Graduation Marksheet
  • Scanned photograph and signature in the required size and format

 

Online Mode

  • Steps 1 - Registration 
    • Firstly go to the NIT DURGAPUR website 
    • Now apply and register as a new user from the link showing – “Registration” to get the National Institute of Technology Durgapur application form
  • Steps 2 - Form Filling
    • Now you have to login with the registered credentials on the NITD  website
    • Now you can start filling the National Institute of Technology Durgapur application form
  • Steps 3 – Upload Documents
    • You will be redirected to a new page where you have to upload the scanned images of your documents, signature, photograph, etc in the National Institute of Technology Durgapur application form
  • Steps 4 – Fee
    • After that pay the National Institute of Technology Durgapur application fee (for general/ OBC category candidates is Rs. 1500/- and for SC/ST/ PWD category candidates is Rs. 1000/-) via online mode by using Credit Card, Debit Card or Net-Banking.
    • You will have to submit the National Institute of Technology Durgapur application form 
    • After completing all the above steps take a printout for the further reference

 

Eligibility Criteria:

B.Tech – complete and passed in class 10th and 12th with minimum 60% aggregate marks in science (PCM - Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) subjects from a reputed Board
B.Tech + M.Tech – complete and passed in class 10th and 12th with minimum 60% aggregate marks in relevant subjects from a reputed Board

National Institute of Technology Durgapur PG Programs Eligibility Criteria:

M.Tech – pass and clear your graduation in BE/B.Tech degree with a minimum 60% aggregate marks in a relevant field from a recognized university 
MBA – pass and clear your graduation degree with minimum 50% aggregate marks in a relevant field from a recognized university
M.Sc. – pass and clear your graduation in B.Sc degree with minimum 60% aggregate marks in relevant field from a recognized university

National Institute of Technology Durgapur Ph.D. Programs Eligibility Criteria:

Ph.D. –pass and clear your Post Graduation in a relevant field from a recognized university
