Introduction

Galgotias Educational Institution is a private institution providing education in the field of technology and management. The Institute was established in the year 1999 and is located at Greater Noida famously known as the education hub of northern India. The Institute is founded by Smt. Shakuntala Educational and Welfare Society is currently led by Mr. SuneelGalgotia. The institute is affiliated with Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam University (AKTU) which was formerly known as Uttar Pradesh University (UPT).

Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology (GCET) and Galgotias Institute of Management and Technology (GIMT) are an integral part of Galgotias Educational Institution. The Institute provides many Undergraduate and postgraduate courses which are recognized by the government of India.

The institute has shown immense progress in its academic and infrastructure. Within such a short span of time, the institute has proved to excellent and is also recognized as one of the top engineering colleges in northern India. Galgotias Institute has modern infrastructure spread over a vast area of 19 acres. The campus comprises of high-speed internet WIFI facility enabling students and faculties in their academics and research works. The Institute has fully centralized Air Conditioned Classrooms with digital learning facility in each class. The institute maintains a well-maintained library with an enormous number of books, reviews, reports, and journals. The institute pays extra emphasis on health and fitness by providing opportunities for many indoor and outdoor sports. For better learning and easement in attending classes, the institute has on-campus hostel facilities for both boys and girls. 

Galgotias Educational Institute follows the Mentoring system where each student has a faculty mentor for better and more comfortable sharing of thoughts related to academics and personal growth.
