Introduction

Mewar University was founded in the year 2008 as an autonomous body that is a self-financed university. The university was set up by the Government of Rajasthan through Act. No. 4 of 2009 passed by the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly. The institute is spread over an area of 30 acres of land. Mewar University is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The courses offered by the institute include B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, BBA, B.Sc, BA-LLB, BBA-LLB, LLM, B.Com, M.Com, BA, MA, B.Sc, M.Sc, D.Pharm, Ph.D., etc. The institute also has both national and international collaborations.

BE/B.Tech The applicants should be 10+2 passed out with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a recognized board
D.Pharm The applicants should be class 12 passed out with PCM/ PCB with a minimum of 50% aggregate and the candidates must have studied and passed Biology/ Biotechnology as one of the subjects. The age limit is 17 years. 
BA B.Ed The applicants should be 12th passed out from  a recognized board
BMLT The applicants should be 12th passed out with a science stream from  a recognized board
Postgraduate
M.Sc The applicants should be graduated with a minimum of 50% aggregate or equivalent

Scholarship

Scholarships Details
MU Scholarships The applicants (first topper) securing more than 90% aggregate marks in class 12 are given 75% tuition fee exemption
Meritorious Student Scholarships - The applicants securing more than 85% aggregate mark in Class 12 are exempted from paying a 25% tuition fee
- The applicants who are topper in each department are reimbursed with tuition fees for one full year by the respective chair
Special Scholarship for Economically Weaker Students -The applicants who belong to the general category and whose parents are economically weaker and have a family income less than Rs. 1 lakh per year are given a 50% exemption in the tuition fee
-The applicants who have secured above 75% aggregate in Class 12 from a recognized board
Extra-curricular Excellence Scholarships One applicant from each department, adjudged for excellence in extra-curricular activities like sports, oratory, presentation, cultural activity, etc, will be reimbursed with 50% of the tuition fee
