Introduction

MATS University (Mahaveer Academy of Technology and Science University) is a premier university located in Aarang, Chhattisgarh, India. The university was established in the year 2006 under the Chhattisgarh Private University Act of 2005. It is one of the top private universities in India. The university is also considered among the best technical university in Chhattisgarh. It has been recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) of the UGC Act of 1956. The university established MATS Institute of Open and Distance Learning in the year 2009. It has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), New Delhi. It is also a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi.
