Admission

Admissions are based on an entrance exam known as the MGU-CAT exams. 

Registration begins in May and runs until the end of July. Applicants for the UG and PG programs can purchase an application form from the official website. The deadline for completing the online application is August 13th.

These are the steps to submit the form:

  • Login to the official website
  • Register and verify your ID.
  • Fill in the required information
  • Upload the important documents
  • Pay the application fees, and
  • Submit the form.

Documents needed for admission to MG University 2022:

  • Copy of Marksheet
  • Conduct Certificate
  • Transfer Certificate
  • Copy of Aadhaar Card
  • Caste Certificate
  • Migration Certificate

 

Admissions to all programmes at MG University are handled through a CAP (centralised allotment process). It also holds an entrance exam (MGU CAT) for all courses offered on the University campus. However, for admission to its MBA and PhD programmes, the University also accepts national-level entrance exams such as KMAT, CMAT, CAT, UGC NET, CSIR NET, GPAT, GATE, and others.

Registration for the CAP B.Ed and CAP PG is currently open. 

Candidates can register by going to the University's official website. 

The application deadline for CAP B.Ed is September 6. 

Furthermore, the second allotment list for UG CAP and IP CAP is set to be released in September.

 

Mahatma Gandhi University Admission Important Dates 2022:

For all of its courses, Mahatma Gandhi University uses a centralised admissions process. Every year, registrations for UG/ IP CAP begin in May and end in June. The following are the important dates for MG University Kerala admission 2021:

B.A., B.Com., B.Sc.,  Students must have passed their intermediate exams with a reasonable cumulative gpa. 
BCA (maths in 10+2), 
BSW, B.Voc, 
BBA, BHM, 
B.Lib.I.Sc, BA.LLB
M.A. (Both Regular& Specialization)  Should have completed graduation with a similar subject and a total aggregate score of 50%. 
M.Sc. (Both Regular & Specialization)
