Introduction

Institute of Bioresources and Sustainable Development was established in the year 2001 in the city of Imphal. The Institute was founded with the aim of managing the bioresources of the Indo Burma region scientifically. Postdoctoral, doctoral, courses are offered by the Institute. Short term Training is also provided here. This Institute is undertaken by Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India. Facilities like good library, good research centre, well trained faculties are all available within the campus premises. The Institute has a good reputation in the state as well as in the Country.
