Admission

IGNOU offers admission on the basis of the entrance exam or obtained marks in the previous qualifying exam. Check the below details to take admission:
Admission into the UG programs B.Com, BAVTM, BCA, B.Sc, BA will be based on the merit list and it is obtained marks in the intermediate in its equivalent exam
In the BBA course, the admission will be based on a merit list
For MBA applicants will be shortlisted on the basis of obtained marks in Bachelor’s degree program
The admission into BLIS program will be based on obtained marks in Bachelor’s degree or any one-year diploma in Library Science.

Key Points to Remember

  • There are walk-in admissions will be done throughout the year of the Bachelor’s Preparatory program
  • For Management programs, there is an entrance test (OPENMAT) that will be held twice a year
  • In B.Ed program will be done through the national level entrance exam
  • There is age relaxation for ST/ PD/ SC applicants i.e. 5%

  • Go to the official website to fill the application form
  • Tick on the CheckBox on the Agree and Declaration
  • Click on the proceed button to fill the application form
  • Enter your program's code
  • Enter your enrollment number
  • Pay your application form
  • Click on Submit button

Eligibility Criteria of Indira Gandhi National Open University:

Bachelor of Arts Eligibility Criteria
Bachelor of Business Administration Must have completed intermediate exam from the recognized board 
Bachelor of Commerce Must have completed intermediate exam from the recognized board
Bachelor of Science Must have completed intermediate exam from the recognized board
Bachelor of Computer Application Must have completed intermediate exam from the recognized board
B.Lib. Sc Must have completed graduation degree from the recognized university
Master of Arts Must have completed graduation degree from the recognized university
Master of Science Must have completed graduation degree from the recognized university
Master of Business Administration Must have completed graduation degree with at least 50% marks from the recognized university
Master of Education Must have completed B.Ed with at least 50% marks

  • IGNOU has made available the Hall tickets for all the courses offered by the IGNOU 
  •  University. The university also published the corresponding Grade card for the results.
  • Steps to download the IGNOU Hall Ticket
  • Log in to the official website and then click on the Hall Tickets for the Term & Exam link
  • Applicant should enter his or her 9- digit enrollment number and course
  • Upon successful submission, the hall ticket will be displayed on the screen
  • Subsequently, the candidates can download the hall ticket for the corresponding
