Admission

Follow the given below online as well as offline admission procedure for the Indian Institute of Technology Ropar:-

Required Documents:

  • Class 10th Mark sheet
  • Class 12th Mark sheet
  • Graduation Marksheet
  • Five recent passport size colored photographs
  • Aadhar Card Copy
  • Caste Certificate/Disability or PwD Certificate (if required).

 

Online Mode

  • Steps 1 - Registration 
    • Go to the website of IIT ROPAR
  • Steps 2 - Form Filling
    • Start filling the Indian Institute of Technology Ropar application form with all the required personal information and academic details
  • Steps 3 – Upload Documents
    • Now upload all the required scanned copies in the Indian Institute of Technology Ropar application form
  • Steps 4 – Fee
    • Now you have to pay the Indian Institute of Technology Ropar application fee of the UG program is Rs. 300 for the general category and Rs. 150 for reserved category candidates and for PG/Ph.D program is Rs. 200 for the general category and Rs. 100 for reserved category candidates via online mode by using Credit Card/ Debit Card or Net-Banking.
    • After that submit the Indian Institute of Technology Ropar application form and take a printout for the future reference

  • Steps 1 – Application form 
    • Go to the website of IIT ROPAR and download the application form from the website 
  • Steps 2 - Form Filling
    • Now you can start filling the Indian Institute of Technology Ropar application form with all the required credentials carefully
  • Steps 3 – Attach Documents
    • Now attach all the required documents carefully with the duly filled Indian Institute of Technology Ropar application form
  • Steps 4 – Form Submission
    • At last submit the Indian Institute of Technology Ropar application form along with the DD (Demand Draft) for the UG program is Rs. 300 for the general category and Rs. 150 for reserved category candidates and for PG/Ph.D program is Rs. 200 for general category and Rs. 100 for reserved category candidates in the favor of Institute of Technology Ropar.

 

Eligibility Criteria:

B.Tech – You must have cleared class 10th and 12th with 60% marks from a recognized Board
B.Tech + M.Tech – You must have cleared class 10th and 12th with 75% marks from a recognized Board

Indian Institute of Technology Ropar PG Programs Eligibility Criteria:

M.Tech - You must have done BE/B.Tech./ M.Sc with 60% or 6.5 CGPA from a recognized university 
M.Sc – You must have done B.Tech./ B.Sc with 55% marks from a recognized university

Indian Institute of Technology Ropar Ph.D Programs Eligibility Criteria:

Ph.D – You must have done Master’s degree in a relevant discipline with 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized university
