Introduction

Himachal Institute of Engineering and Technology (HIET) was founded in the year 2010 at Dadroli, Himachal Pradesh. It is affiliated to HPU Shimla, HPTU Hamirpur, HPTSB Dharamshala. Government of Himachal Pradesh, AICTE and DTE Sundernagar has also approved the Institute. HIET is known to offer various courses in Law, B. Tech, Diploma, Hotel Management, and vocational subjects. It is known to offer scholarship programmes to various financially weak students for their higher studies. Placement record in the recent years has been very high and the students are even placed in most reputed places of the country.
