Introduction

GURU NANAK COLLEGE OF EDUCATION FOR WOMEN is founded for providing excellent education to the women of the state. The courses offered by the institute are approved by the Government of Punjab. It has also been approved by the National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE), Jaipur. The council checks the quality of education and standard of the institution before granting approval. The institute was established in 1966 by the Guru Nanak Educational Trust for the women. It has been accredited from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), New Delhi.
