Introduction

Government College of Engineering Textile Technology was established in the year 1908 at Serampore, West Bengal. The college was first initiated with a course of Weaving & later B. Tech & M. Tech programme in Textile Technology & Mineral processing of Textiles was added. The Institute has also added another new course of Apparel production management in 2007. The institute has been aiming for a global vision of becoming a world class institute for undertaking Textile & management. The college has highly experienced reputed faculties who are well-connected to the graduates. The focus on the basic training course for the students is to make them capable for future .
