The ICICI Bank Probationary Officer (PO) examination comprises of three distinct phases, namely, the Online Aptitude Test, Online Psychometric Test, and the Group Discussion followed by an Interview.

Stage 1: Online Aptitude Test:

The ICICI Bank PO syllabus for the Online Aptitude Test encompasses three major sections, comprising significant topics that serve as the basis for the question paper. The Online Aptitude Test is divided into:

  • Verbal Ability
  • Analytical Ability
  • Numerical Ability

Each section comprises 20 questions, summing up to a total of 60 questions. The complete test is to be completed within a time frame of 60 minutes. Moreover, no negative marking rule is enforced in the Online Aptitude Test.

Stage 2 -This web-based psychometric examination gauges candidates' characteristics, such as teamwork and leadership abilities. Candidates must finish this personality evaluation to be eligible for the group discussion stage. However, completion of this questionnaire does not automatically qualify them for further stages of this recruitment process.

Stage 3 - Candidates who successfully complete the online aptitude test will receive an email invitation to participate in a group discussion, which is a scenario-based exercise. The intention behind conducting this group discussion is to measure candidates' competency in a group environment.

Stage 4 -Those who pass the Group Discussion are required to attend a Personal Interview on the same day.
