Overview

The Indian Council of Agricultural Research National Eligibility Test (ICAR ASRB NET 2021) is organised by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research. It is held each year to determine candidates' eligibility for Lecturer / Assistant Professor positions in the agricultural area. ASRB NET is open to candidates with a valid Master’s degree. The ASRB ICAR NET is an online test that covers 57 agricultural-related topics. It is an examination at the Master's level.

Highlights 
The application procedure for the ASRB NET 2022 is expected to begin in February 2022, and the exam date will be announced by the ASRB board. The Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board holds an exam every year to appoint Assistant Professors and Lecturers for State Agricultural Universities as well as other Agricultural Universities in India. Candidates with a Master's Degree in several fields of agricultural technology and science are eligible to apply for the ASRB NET.

Eligibility 
Applicants are expected to meet the ICAR ASRB NET 2021 qualifying criteria. If an applicant fails to meet even one of the criteria, he or she will not be regarded eligible. Applicants can review the qualifying requirements listed below:
Citizenship: Citizen of India/ Nepal/ Bhutan/ Tibetan refugee who arrived to India before January 1, 1962, with the goal of establishing permanently in India/ Person of Indian origin has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and East African nations.
Age Restriction: The candidate must be over the age of 21. There is no maximum age limit.
Number of Attempts: There is no limit to the amount of tries.
Educational Criteria: The candidate must have a Master's degree in the necessary topic. However, the Master's programme must be completed in a specific speciality.

Exam Pattern 
The ASRB NET Exam is administered using a computer-based online test. And the exam will last 2 hours or 120 minutes in total. The ASRB NET Exam will consist of 150 questions. The questions are based on the disciplines for which the applicants apply, and they are written in accordance with Master's standards. For each incorrect response, one-third of a point will be removed. The question paper is bilingual in nature (English and Hindi).

Exam Paper 
The first step in improving exam speed and accuracy is to practise the ASRB NET previous year question papers and mock exams. To qualify for eligibility tests such as the ASRB NET, careful preparation is required. Exam Center

Cut Off  
The minimum marks necessary to qualify for ICAR NET II – 2021 are presented with the Information Brochure. The ASRB will choose students based on the examination cut-off. The following are the minimum qualifying marks in the exam, listed by category:

Selection Process  
The ASRB ICAR net selection procedure is as follows:
ASRB NET Application Form: Following the issuance of the ASRB NET announcement, applicants must apply online at the ASRB's official website. Registration, filling out basic information, and paying the application cost online are all part of the application procedure.
ASRB NET Admit Card: Successfully enrolled applicants must download their ASRB NET admit card online. ASRB doesn’t send admit cards by mail/post.
ASRB NET Exam: The ASRB NET exam is a qualifying exam. The exam is given entirely online. Looking at the ASRB NET test schedule, it is apparent that applicants must answer a total of 150 questions in 120 minutes, with each question carrying one mark. The test has a negative marking system, with a third of a score lost for each wrong answer. The applicants are quizzed about the subject for which they are appearing. Each discipline has its own ASRB NET syllabus. The papers must be at master's degree level. Question papers are provided in two languages: English and Hindi. If a discrepancy is discovered in any paper, the English medium paper shall be given preference.
ASRB NET Result: Those who meet the cut-off marks will be entitled to apply for lecturer or assistant professor positions when they become available at various agricultural universities.
