Introduction

DR AMBEDKAR INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY FOR HANDICAPPED (AITH) is a pioneer educational institute established especially for the handicapped students in the country. The institute is located in Kanpur district of Uttar Pradesh, India. It was established in the year 1997 under the Department of Technical Education, Government of UP. This is an initiative to enable them to learn technical courses and to enhance the opportunities for them. It is affiliated to Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow. The institute has also received recognition under section 2(f) of the UGC Act of 1956.
