Introduction

Dr Ambedkar Institute of Technology for Handicapped (A.I.T.H) laid its foundation in 1997 at Kanpur. The Government of Utter Pradesh took the initiative for providing higher education to physically disable and normal students under the World Bank assisted the project. It is the best institute for handicapped in India providing best B.Tech and Diploma courses. The campus of A.I.T.H is specially designed for convenience for handicapped students. It also provides placement and training opportunities to the students in different renowned companies. The Institute has gained popularity all over the world for providing unique scope for technical education for physically disabled students.
