Introduction

DAV COLLEGE (DAVC) is an educational institution located in Hoshiarpur, Punjab, India. The institute was established in the year 1926 by the DAV educational trust. The trust is an integral part of Arya Samaj Founded by Swamy Dayanand Saraswati. He was an eminent thinker and philosopher. The institute is affiliated to Panjab University, Chandigarh. The institute has received recognition by the University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi under section 2(f) in the UGC Act of 1957. The institute is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), Government of India, New Delhi, with “A” Grade.
