Introduction

The Distance Education Centre of Berhampur University was named after the late Raja Saheb Harihara Mardaraj and came into existence in the year 1987. The Centre now offers a total number of 28 under-graduate/post-graduate, professional courses and PG Diploma courses in multiple disciplines such as Economics, History, Education, Mathematics, Political Science etc. The institute made education facility available for the working people and for candidates who are unable to attend the conventional system of classroom education by offering various courses in the distance education mode. Berhampur University is duly recognized by UGC and accredited by NAAC A Grade.
