Admission

Admission Procedure


(A) Admission Applicants living near any of the Learner Support Centres can gather information about admission from it. Selection for admission to all the programs will be made at the Directorate. For Admission, the candidates must submit a filled-in application along with the following documents in person: 

Original Certificates will be returned immediately after verification. The Transfer Certificate/Migration Certificate will also be returned after affixing a seal that the candidate is admitted for the academic year 2023 – 24. Registration is subject to the Confirmation or Cancellation (if found not eligible) by the Director, DDE.
 
(B) Admission through Post If the applicant's place is not near any of the Learner Support Centres, the filled-in application pasted with a passport-size photograph could be sent to The Director, Directorate of Distance Education, Annamalai University, Annamalainagar – 608 002 along with self-attested Photostat copies of the documents. 

On receipt of the provisional admission card, the applicant has to send by Registered post or Courier or Speed post or produce in person, the Original Certificates of photostat documents submitted along with an application for ( Educational qualification,  Transfer/ Migration Certificate (self-attested photostat copies enclosed with the application form) and receipt of payment for the prescribed fees), observing the guidelines classified in the Mode of Payment. 

After the confirmation of admission, the signed identity card and the original certificates including Transfer Certificate/Migration Certificate after affixing a seal on the TC that the candidate is admitted during the academic year 2023 – 24, will be returned to the student through the Registered post. If the certificates submitted by a candidate are found to be fake, his/her admission will be canceled and the fees submitted will also be forgo.

13 M.COM. CO-OPERATIVE MANAGEMENT B.Com./ BBM/ B.Com.(C.A.)/ B.B.A. /B.A. Corporate Secretaryship / B.A. Co-operation / Bachelor of Bank Management / M.B.A. and B.A./B.Sc. Maths with two Commerce subjects including Accountancy
14 M.F.A. DANCE - BHARATHANATYAM Candidates who have completed a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a Higher grade certificate in Music (or) Three-year certificate program in Music (or) proficiency in Music / Instruments/ Training under the Gurukula system for Three Years

21 M.SC. COMPUTER SCIENCE A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any other degree accepted as equivalent thereto by the Syndicate
22 M.SC. MATHEMATICS B.Sc. Mathematics (or) Equivalent Course such as B.Sc. Mathematics with Computer Applications/ B.Sc. B.Ed. (Mathematics) (4 Year Integrated) / U.G. degree programs have more than one main subject in Part – III and Part – IV with Mathematics as one of the Major Subjects
23 M.SC. MICROBIOLOGY B.Sc Microbiology / Botany / Zoology degree examination with Life Science/ Biochemistry/Microbiology/Botany/Zoology as one of the ancillary Courses. Preference in admission will be given to the Candidates working as Teachers and Scientific Assistants. 
24 M.SC. PHYSICS B.Sc. Physics Degree holder
25 M.SC. YOGA Any degree under (10 + 2 + 3 / 11 + 1 + 3 / 11 + 2 + 2) pattern
26 M.SC. ZOOLOGY B.Sc Zoology / B.Sc. Life Science / B.Sc. Animal Science / B.Sc. Applied Zoology / B.Sc. (Advanced Zoology and Biotechnology) / equivalent thereto.
27 MASTER OF SOCIAL WORK Any degree under (10 + 2 + 3 / 11 + 1 + 3 / 11 + 2 + 2) pattern
