Introduction

Andhra University College of Engineering for Women (AUCEW) is a renowned engineering college exclusively for women. The institute was established in the year 1946, making it one of the oldest institutes in India. It is affiliated to Andhra University, Vishakhapatnam. The University was established in 1926 by the Madras Act of 1926. It is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, New Delhi. It is recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi. The National Assessment and Accreditation has also accredited the institute.
