Follow the given below online as well as offline admission procedure for the Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology:-

  • Steps 2 - Form Filling
    • Start filling out the TIET application form with all the required credentials like - Personal Information, Academic Details, Work Experience, etc.
  • Steps 3 – Upload Documents
    • Now upload all the desired credentials such as photograph, signature, etc.
  • Steps 4 – Fee    
    • Now you have to pay the Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology application fee for MCA program is Rs. 1500 and for the M.Sc. program is Rs.1000. via online mode and offline mode by using DD, that you have to send along with the application form to the “In-charge Admission Cell” Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, Patiala – 147004.
    • After that submit the Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology application form and take a printout for the future reference

Eligibility Criteria:

Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology UG Programs Eligibility Criteria:

B.Tech - You must have cleared class 10th and 12th with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates)
B.E - You must have cleared class 10th and 12th with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates)
BA (Hons.) - You must have cleared class 10th and 12th with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks (55% for reserved category candidates)
BBA (Hons.) -  You must have cleared class 10th and 12th with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks (55% for reserved category candidates)
B.Sc (Hons.) - You must have cleared class 10th and 12th with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks (55% for reserved category candidates)

Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology PG Programs Eligibility Criteria:

MBA – You must have done Graduation/post-graduation in any discipline with 50% marks in aggregate.
M.Sc. - You must have done Graduation in the science stream with 60% (55% for SC/ST category candidates) marks in aggregate with the relevant subject
MCA - You must have done Graduation in any discipline with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST category candidates) in aggregate with Mathematics as one of the subjects in Class 12
M.E - You must have done Graduation with at least 60% marks in aggregate (55% for SC/ST category candidates) 
M.Tech - You must have done Graduation with at least 60% marks in aggregate (55% for SC/ST category candidates)
M.A - You must have done Bachelor in Psychology/B.Tech. with 55% marks in aggregate and with Psychology as one of the subjects (50% for SC/ST category candidates)

Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology Doctoral Programs Eligibility Criteria:

Ph.D. – You must have done a Master’s degree in a relevant discipline with 55% marks in aggregate.
