WB NEET UG Counselling 2024 Round 1 Choice Filling Underway, Check Details

The filling and locking selection process for West Bengal NEET UG 2024 has started. Candidates who have registered for the MBBS admission counselling process can visit the official website of NEET UG and lock their seats till 29th August. The seat allotment results for the first round of the counselling process will be released on 2 September 2024. Shortlisted students must report to the allotted institutes between 3 September and 5 September 2024 to complete the admission process.

The Directorate of Medical Education West Bengal is conducting the counselling process for NEET UG 2024. The registration for the counselling process started on the 21st of August for the candidates who cleared NEET UG 2024.

Counselling takes place in four rounds: 1st round, 2nd round, 3rd round and vacancy round. The process includes registration, payment of fee, verification of documents, filling and locking of selection, allotment of seat and reporting to designated institute.

West Bengal NEET UG 2024: Counseling Schedule

  • Online registration: 21 to 23 August (until 20:00)
  • Fee Payment through Online Mode: 21st to 23rd August
  • Candidate Verification: 22nd, 23rd & 24th August (11:00 AM - 4:00 PM)
  • Release of the list of verified candidates and seat matrix: August 27
  • Completion and removal of the lock: 27-29 August
  • Seat Allotment Result: 2nd September
  • Reporting to Allotted Institute: 3rd, 4th and 5th September (11:00 AM to 4:00 PM)
  • After the completion of the first round, the second round of counselling will begin on September 11. Candidates should regularly check the official website for updates and ensure that all the necessary steps are completed within the stipulated deadlines.

 

Steps to select and lock

  • Visit the official site of WB NEET UG Counselling.
  • Click on UG NEET Counseling Registrations.
  • Click on the fill options window and enter the allocation options.
  • Lock options.
  • Save and click Submit.
