UP NEET UG Counselling 2024: Registration begins today at upneet.gov.in

The dates and schedule for UP NEET 2024 counseling have been released. On August 20, 2024, registration for round one counseling opened. August 24, 2024, is the deadline for submitting application materials for UP MBBS/BDS admission in 2024. The selection period for the choice filling is August 24–August 29, 2024. Candidates who are eligible for UP NEET 2024 counseling will be listed on a merit list that is made public based on registration. On August 24, 2024, the merit list will be posted online. On August 30, 2024, the Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET) will release the results of the first round of counseling.

To take part in the UP seat distribution process, candidates must register on the official website, upneet.gov.in, and submit an application. Those who qualify for counseling rounds are included in the merit list for admission to the UP MBBS/BDS program. In order to be assigned a seat, candidates must indicate their preferences for colleges and courses. It should be mentioned that 85% of the seats would be allocated using UP NEET counseling in 2024. For the purpose of allocating the remaining 15% of All India Quota seats, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) would hold NEET 2024 counseling. The minimum cutoff for NEET 2024 qualifying is a requirement for counseling.

Steps for the UP NEET UG Counselling 2024

Login: The NEET 2024 roll number and password must be used to log in. The candidates' registered cellphone number will receive an OTP.

Option Filling up: The screen will provide a list of colleges. The applicant must rank their preferred colleges in order of priority. Before choosing a private or minority college, applicants should review all available information about the institution and associated costs. In order to move on, an applicant must save their selections after selecting their top colleges.

Options locking: Before the deadline, the options must be locked and submitted. Applicants would not have their applications examined for NEET Uttar Pradesh counseling in 2024 if they do not submit their final choices.

Seat allotment list: Following the submission of the options, DMET examines each application and creates a merit list or seat allocation list for the chosen applicants.

Reporting to the designated college: Individuals who wish to remain in the seat they have been given in the UP NEET 2024 counseling must report to the designated college. Before the deadline, they must report to the college and bring the necessary paperwork.
