UGC NET December Exam Dates Have Been Announced

The National Test Agency (NTA) has officially announced the date for the University Grant Commission National Eligibility Test 2023 December examination session today, September 19, 2023. According to the official announcement, the UGC NET December 2023 examination session will be conducted from December 6, 2023, to December 20, 2023.

The official announcement says that The National Test Agency will shortly provide relevant information about the National Grant Commission National Eligibility Test (UGCNET) 2023 in December, in which they officially include exam dates (subjects), the Application Process, which candidates can be eligible for the exam, UGC NET Exam fees, registration starts, the admit card, and how interested candidates prepare for the exam.

 

This UGC-NET is held twice a year, every six months, such as June and December, According to an official announcement, the June examination session is scheduled for June 10–21, 2024. This is an important test for those who want to be Junior Research Fellows (JRF) or become assistant professors.   

 

The UGC-NET depends on the eligibility or aggregate performance of the interested candidates in Paper-I and Paper-II for an assistant professorship. This examination is a computer-based test (CBT) that covers 83 subjects.  The previous session of the UGC-NET exam took place in two phases, spanning a duration of nine days and consisting of 18 shifts across 181 cities nationwide. More than 6,00,000 students participated in last year's examination.
