SSC Stenographer 2024 registration begins: Notification Update, 2,006 vacancies

On July 26, 2024, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) published the SSC Stenographer 2024 announcement. The application must be completed by August 24, 2024, at the latest. For the exam, a total of 2006 spots were made available. The SSC Stenographer Exam is scheduled for October through November of 2024.

To fill the positions of SSC Stenographer Grade C (Group "B," Non-Gazetted) and Stenographer Grade D (Group C) for various ministries, departments, and organizations within the Indian government, SSC holds an open, competitive, computer-based exam. Experienced stenographers are encouraged to apply. SSC Stenographer job postings will be accessible as they become available.

  • Salary – Grade D- Rs 5,200 to Rs 20,200

 

How to apply for SSC Stenographer 2024 

  • Go to the SSC Home Portal at www.ssc.nic.in, the official website.
  • On the home page, click the Recruitment Section.
  • You can click the Apply Online link located in the recruitment section.
  • You must complete this form completely and press the Next button.
  • Upload Your Image and Select the Size of Your Thumb Impression
  • You deposit Fees on the next page.
  • Lastly, carefully save your data, submit your form, and print it out for future use.

 

SSC Stenographer 2024 Selection Process

One component of the selection process is a computer-based exam. Subjects covered in the CBT will include English language and comprehension, general awareness, and general intelligence and reasoning. Two hours are allotted for the exam. There will only be one objective type multiple choice question paper. There will be questions in both Hindi and English.
