RRB Junior Engineer JE Admit Card 2026: Release

Aspirant's are applying for the posts of the JE, Depot Material administrator( DMS), and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant( CMA) in Indian Railroads can now download their hall tickets from RRB websites using their login credentials. The Railway Recruitment Board( RRB) has officially released the RRB Junior Engineer (JE) Admit Card 2026 for the Computer- Based Test of the RRB JE.

The release of the admit card is among the most awaited ways in the recovery process, as this e-call letter allows to confirm their test centre, shift timing, reporting time, roll number and essential instructions before taking the examination. 


Revised test Dates & test City Details 

As per the latest official schedule, the First Stage is Computer Based Test - 1 for RRB JE 2026 will be conducted on 

  • 19 February 2026 
  • 20 February 2026 
  • 25 February 2026 

Before schedules had the last session on 3 March 2026, but that date was revised and replaced with 25 February 2026 as per functionary test announcements. 

RRB also released the test City Intimation Slip on 10 February 2026, which allowed campaigners to check their assigned city, test date, and shift much ahead of the hall ticket release.

 

Admit Card Release Timeline 

According to RRB rules and official announcements, the JE admit cards — also referred to as “e-call letters ” — are generally released four days before the listed test date. 

Campaigners whose test date is 19 February would find their admit card released on or around 15 February 2026. 

Also, admit cards were released in phases for the remaining test dates four days prior to each day of examination. 

RRB has activated the admit card download links on the official digital doors(  similar to rrbdigitalm.com, rrbapply.gov.in, and regional RRB  spots), where campaigners must log in using their Registration Number and Date of Birth/ word to access their hall tickets. 

 

How to Download ? 

To download the admit card, campaigners should 

  • Visit the official regional RRB website where they registered their application. 
  • Look for the link named “ RRB JE Admit Card 2026 ” or “ E CBT- 1e-call letter ”. 
  • Enter the Registration Number and Date of Birth/ word. 
  • Complete any captcha or verification step displayed. 
  • View and download the admit card, and take a clear printout for the examination day. 

Campaigners must save this admit card as it'll be needed not only to enter the test centre but also during after stages similar as CBT- 2 and document verification.

Important Test Day Instructions 

Campaigners must discuss all information carefully and report to RRB help divisions instantly in case of disagreement. 

RRB JE CBT- 1 test Pattern 

The CBT- 1 serves as the first qualifying stage of the selection process. The  test pattern includes 

  • 100  ideal- type questions 
  • Total duration 90 minutes

 

Subjects covered include 

  • Mathematics – 30 questions 
  • General Intelligence & logic – 25 questions 
  • General awareness– 15 questions 
  • General Science – 30 questions 

Each correct answer carries one mark, while 1/ 3rd mark is subtracted for each incorrect answer. 

 

Mandatory Documents to Carry on Test Day 

Along with the published admit card, campaigners must carry one valid original print ID evidence similar as 

  • Aadhaar Card( or e-Aadhaar printout) 
  • Voter ID 
  • Passport 
  • Driving Licence 

Campaigners without these documents won't be allowed to enter the examination hall. Also, RRB confirms Aadhaar- based biometric verification at numerous centres to help impersonation. 

 

Selection Process Overview 

The RRB JE reclamation process involves these stages 

  • First Stage CBT( CBT- 1) 
  • Alternate Stage CBT( CBT- 2) 
  • Document Verification( DV) 
  • Medical Examination 

Performance in CBT- 1 determines eligibility for the alternate stage. Final merit is based primarily on CBT- 2 scores, subject to verification and medical fitness. 

 

Vacancies & Career Details 

The RRB JE 2026 drive is expected to fill roughly  2,588  vacancies across Indian Railways zones for posts similar as Junior Engineer, JE( IT), DMS and CMA. Campaigners who qualify all stages will be appointed under the 7th CPC Pay Matrix( Level 6 or original) with applicable allowances and benefits. 

 

Advisory for campaigners 

RRB has advised applicants against counting on unofficial portals for admit card downloads or updates. All official announcements, admit cards, city slips, and schedule changes are announced simply through regional and central RRB websites. Regular checking of these portals is advised to avoid last- minute confusion.

What’s Next?

Following the CBT- 1 test held between 19 and 25 February 2026, RRB will publish provisional answer keys and give a window for raising objections. Results for CBT- 1 are anticipated to be  announced soon.
With the admit card release now completed, the test phase of the RRB JE 2026 recovery process has officially started, and the lakhs of the aspirants nationwide are gearing up for one of the most competitive engineering examinations in the country.
