The Central Board of Secondary Education is currently ready to issue the admit cards for the Class 10th and Class 12th board exams 2026. The board examinations are conducted to begin on February 17, 2026, and the admit cards are being released in early February as the test dates draw near. 

What is an  admit Card? 

An admit card is an official and important document which is issued by the CBSE that confirms a student's eligibility to sit in the board examinations. It contains some basic details:

  • The student's name 
  • Their roll number 
  • Date of birth and photo
  • test centre address 
  • Subject-wise test dates and timings 

 

Release of CBSE Admit Card for 2026 

CBSE  generally issues the board test admit cards many days before the examinations begin. For 2026, regular scholars are expected to submit their admit cards in the first week of February 2026,  generally about 5 – 7 days before the first test on February 17. 

Admit cards for private campaigners have formerly been released and are available for download on the official CBSE website. These campaigners can pierce their admit cards directly and distribute them. 

For regular scholars, CBSE has made the hall tickets available through schools. School authorities are responsible for downloading admit cards from the official portal and distributing them to scholars. Regular scholars themselves generally can not download the admit card directly from the website.

scholars who belong to the private  order( including  improvement, compartment and  additional subject  campaigners) can download their admit cards by following these simple  way 

  • Visit the official CBSE website, cbse.gov.in 
  • Click on the link for CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 Admit Card 2026 
  • Choose an option to search 
  • application number, or 
  • former roll number and time, or 
  • student name 
  • Enter the required information and click do 
  • The admit card will be shown on the screen 
  • Download and print the admit card and keep it safe for the test days 

For regular scholars, the admit cards will be downloaded by academy officers from the CBSE portal and handed to scholars. Formerly given,  scholars should check all details precisely to make sure names, roll number, subject canons and centre information are correct.
