Admission

KCG College of Technology requires students to give Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) entrance exam conducted by Anna University for giving admission in UG level programs – B.Tech/ B.E
KCG College of Technology requires students to give TANCET (Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test) entrance exam conducted by Anna University for giving admission in PG level programs – M.E and MCA

TNEA Registration

Steps 1 - Registration

  • Go to the website of TNEA

Steps 2 - Form Filling

  • Start filling the TNEA application form with all the required details

Steps 3 – Upload Documents

  • Now upload all the scanned copies of the photograph and signature.

Steps 4 – Fee

  • Now you have to pay the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions application fee:-
    Category  Application fee
    General Rs.600/-
    SC/ST Rs.300/-
  • After that submit the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions application form and take a printout for the future reference  

TANCET Registration

Steps 1 - Registration 

  • Go to the website of TANCET
  • Now click on link showing  - “Online registration”
  • Register yourself with the registered mail ID & mobile number

Steps 2 - Form Filling

  • Now log in to the TANCET application form with the user ID & password
  • Read all the instructions carefully and after that tick mark the “I Agree” declaration option 
  • Now proceed to fill in the TANCET application form with all the required details

Steps 3 – Upload Documents

  • Now upload all the scanned copies of the photograph and signature.
  • Now re-check all the details and submit the TANCET form

Steps 4 – Fee    

  • Now you have to pay the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test application fee of Rs. Rs.500 and for reserved candidates fee is Rs.250.
  • After that submit the Tamil application form and take a printout for the future reference  

KCG College of Technology UG Programs Eligibility Criteria
Bachelors of Technology (B.Tech) – You must have cleared class 10th and 12th with minimum 50% aggregate marks in PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) or its equivalent from a recognized board.
Bachelors of Engineering (B.E) - You must have cleared class 10th and 12th with minimum 50% aggregate marks in PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) or its equivalent from a recognized board.

KCG College of Technology PG Programs Eligibility Criteria
Master of Computer Applications (MCA) - You must have done BCA/B.Sc with minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% aggregate marks for reserved category candidates)
Masters of Engineering (M.E) - You must have done BE/ B.Tech with 55% aggregate marks form an AICTE recognized University

KCG College of Technology Ph.D Programs Eligibility Criteria
Ph.D - You must have done ME/ M.Tech or BE/ B.Tech with good academic record or a Master’s Degree in Sciences from a recognized University
