Admission

Follow the given online admission procedure for the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee:-

Required Documents:

  • Class 10th Mark sheet
  • Class 12th Mark sheet
  • Graduation Marksheet
  • Scanned photograph and signature in the asked size and format
  • Sponsorship, NOC, and experience certificate (if required)
  • Certificates in respect of work experience (if required)
  • SC/ ST/ OBC/ GEN-EWS/ PwD certificate (if required)

 

Online Mode

  • Steps 1 - Registration 
    • Firstly go to the IITR website 
    • Now to the tab showing - ‘Admission’ and click on it and after that select your desired course from the drop-down menu
    • Now future proceed and click on the ‘Application Procedure’ 
  • Steps 2 - Form Filling
    • After that you will be redirected to a new page where IITR website application portal will get open
    • Now you can start filling the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee application form
  • Steps 3 – Upload Documents
    • Now upload the scanned images of required documents in the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee application form in this step 
  • Steps 4 – Fee
    • After that pay the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee application fee (for General/OBC candidates is Rs. 300/- and for SC/ST/PwD/Female candidates is Rs. 150/-) via online mode by using a Credit Card, Debit Card or Net-Banking.
    • You will have to submit the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee application form 
    • After completing all the above steps take a printout for the future use

B.Arch – complete and clear your class 10th and 12th in relevant subjects with an aggregate of 55% marks from a reputed Board
BS MS – complete and clear your class 10th and 12th in relevant subjects with an aggregate of 55% marks from a reputed Board
Integrated M.Tech – complete and clear your class 10th and 12th in relevant subjects with an aggregate of 55% marks from a reputed Board

Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee PG Programs Eligibility Criteria:

M.Tech – complete and clear your Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from a recognized university 
MBA – complete and clear your Bachelor’s degree in any field with a minimum of 60% marks (55% in the case of SC/ST/PD category candidates) from a recognized university
M.Sc –complete and clear your graduation in B.Sc or its equivalent from a recognized university
MIM (Masters in Innovation Management) – complete and clear your Bachelor’s degree in relevant field from a recognized university
M.Des. (Industrial Design) – complete and clear your Bachelor’s degree in any field with a minimum of 60% marks (55% in the case of SC/ST/PD category candidates) from a recognized university
M.Arch. – complete and clear your Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from a recognized university
