XAT Examination is divided into four sections namely – 

  • Verbal and Logical Ability
  • Decision Making
  • General Knowledge
  • Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation

Type of questions MCQs
Marking Scheme Candidates will get +1 marks for every correct answer
0.25 marks will deducted for every wrong answer 
0.10 marks will deducted for more than 8 un-attempted questions
There will be no negative marking in the GK (General Knowledge) section only

  • DD (Demand Draft) – you just have to send a DD in favor of given address:-

Ans. Indian students who want to apply for GMP via GMAT has to pay XAT exam registration fee of INR 2500/- .

Ans. There is no restriction on number of attempts for XAT exam. You can apply any number of times, year on year.
 

Ques. Is there any negative marking in XAT exam?
Ans. Negative marking scheme for the XAT exam is given below:-

  • -0.25 marks will deducted for every wrong answer 
  • -0.10 marks will deducted for more than 8 un attempted questions
  • There is no negative marking in GK (General Knowledge) section only
