The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board has introduced significant alterations to the WB JECA exam pattern. According to the revised format, the question paper will consist of 100 questions to be attempted within a span of 2 hours.

The altered scheme for the examination will feature two sections. Section A will comprise 80 questions, each valued at 1 mark, while Section B will contain 20 questions, each worth 2 marks.

Importantly, under the new parameters, correctly responding to a question in Section A will yield 1 mark, and a correct answer in Section B will earn 2 marks. Additionally, a quarter mark (0.25) will be deducted for each incorrect response, serving as a penalty.
