Union Public Service Commission Central Armed Police Forces Exam

Overview

CAPF or Central Armed Police Forces Assistant Commandant exam will be conducted by the UPSC. The  UPSC CAPF is a common entrance examination and will be held at the national level. This exam is organized every year to recruit candidates who wish to join the forces as Assistant Commandant. Only Qualified candidates can join Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Border Security Force (BSF), Assam Rifles (AR), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), National Security Guard (NSG), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).

The UPSC or Union Public Service Commission conducts the CAPF exam. The CAPF notification for 2022 will be released on the official website i.e.on upsc.gov.in. Candidates who are planning to apply for this exam must visit the website to get any kind of notification.

Eligibility Criteria of UPSC CAPF 2022
Anapplicant must have attained the age of 20 years, and not later than 1st August 2000.
The maximum age limit will be 25 years.
Candidates given five years age relaxation if they belongs to the Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe category.
There is also three years age relaxationfor those candidates belongs to Other Backward Classes
There is there year five years age relaxation for Civilian Central Government Servants

Nationality Criteria of CAPF AC
No candidate will be allowed who doesn’t belong under the Indian citizenship, except with the consent of Central Government signified and to be appointed and employed under the rules.

Educational Qualification of UPSC CAPF
A candidate must need to hold the Bachelor’s degree from the recognized University

CAPF AC Physical Eligibility Criteria
The candidate should not have any kind indication of chronic disease such as any type of arthritis, TB, Bronchial Asthma, Diabetes, high blood pressure, and heart disease.
