The Indian Navy is one of the most prominent naval forces in the world, responsible for protecting our country both above and below the ocean's surface. A national-level entrance test for officers in several branches of the Indian Air Force, including the Executive, Educational, and Technical branches, is the Indian Navy Entrance Test, or INET. Selected applicants are awarded a Permanent Commission and a Short Service Commission and train at the Indian Naval Academy in Ezhimala, Kerala. The test is given twice a year to an unmarried male and female applicants.

The application form will be completed online, and the examination, which will be computer-based, will also be completed online. To be eligible for the SSB round, applicants must score a certain number of points. Qualified applicants will be notified of the SSB through email and their registered mobile phone number.
