Application Process

  • Each applicant must have to submit a separate application for each exam of UPSC. 
  • Part I for the UPSC Civil Services Exam and Part II will be of the UPSC Civil Services Examination Application Form.

 

Follow the below steps to complete the UPSC CSE application form:

  • Go to the UPSC’s official website i.e. at upsconline.nic.in.
  • Choose the Exam Notifications link from the drop-down menu.
  • To apply through online mode, tap on the Apply Online page.
  • Register yourself for Civil Services Part-I exam,
  • Read all the instructions carefully on the application form before clicking on the Yes button
  • Fill the application form with all required information
  • Upload your all required documents and then pay the IAS application fees

Applicants can start their preparation for IAS exam from NCERT books and daily newspaper. Complete NCERT subjects Sociology, Economics, Geography, and History first and then start reading other books.
