Before applying for HTET, applicants should be aware of the examination's eligibility requirements. The HTET qualifying criteria are shown below:

  • Qualifications in education:
  • For each level, various educational credentials are necessary.
    • Primary School Teacher (Level 1: Class 1 to 5)
      • graduated from high school with a certificate in elementary education (D.El.Ed)
    • Graduate School Teacher (Level 2: Class 6 to 8)
      • Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 50% and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)
    • Postgraduate Educator (Level 3: Above Class 8)
      • Master's Degree with a minimum of 50% and a Bachelor's Degree in Education (B.Ed).
  • Age Restrictions:  Candidates applying for the Haryana Teachers Eligibility Test have no upper age restriction (HTET).
  • The number of attempts: Candidates can take the HTET as many times as they like.

Q1. Does the BSEH publish the official answer key for the exam?

Yes, the authorities have provided individual answer keys for each level in PDF format.

Q2. How is the HTET exam administered?
Ans.
The HTET  test is given in pen and paper format. Candidates must use a ballpoint pen to indicate their answers on the OMR sheet.

Q3. How many times could a person sit in the HTET exam?
Ans.
There is no restriction for taking this exam, therefore you can take it as many times as you like. If a candidate has been given a TET certificate, they can retake the test to improve their score.

Q4. Can the HTET application form be completed offline?

No, the BSEH does not accept the offline HTET application form. The application form may only be filled out online on the exam's official website.

Yes, you can take all three papers of the HTET test provided you match the BSEH's qualifying requirements.
