Application Process

The following phases are included in the HTET selection process:

  • HTET application form: Candidates who wish to take the HTET test must first apply online. To complete the form, candidates must pick the level of test, such as PRT/ PGT/ TGT.
  • Admit Card for HTET: Around ten days before the test, the HTET admit card is published. The admission card for level 1, 2, and 3 papers is published independently on the HTET exam's official website.
  • Exam for HTET: The HTET test consists of three papers: Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3. Level 1 is for primary teachers (classes 1–5), Level 2 is for secondary teachers (classes 6–8), and Level 3 is for post-secondary teachers (classes 9–12). (Class 9 to 12). 
  • Result for HTET: Candidates who obtain the minimum qualifying marks in the HTET test are deemed qualified. Candidates who pass the test are granted the HTET certificate.

 

Cut Off:

The Board of School Education Haryana determines the cut-off scores for HTET. Candidates who achieve the minimum cut-off marks are deemed HTET qualified.

SC and PH of Haryana 55% (82 marks)
Candidates except for SC and PH of Haryana 60% (90 marks)
Candidates out of Haryana (including SC and PH) 60% (90 marks)

FAQ

Q1. Does the BSEH publish the official answer key for the exam?
Ans.
Yes, the authorities have provided individual answer keys for each level in PDF format.

Q2. How is the HTET exam administered?
Ans.
The HTET  test is given in pen and paper format. Candidates must use a ballpoint pen to indicate their answers on the OMR sheet.

Q3. How many times could a person sit in the HTET exam?
Ans.
There is no restriction for taking this exam, therefore you can take it as many times as you like. If a candidate has been given a TET certificate, they can retake the test to improve their score.

Q4. Can the HTET application form be completed offline?
Ans.
No, the BSEH does not accept the offline HTET application form. The application form may only be filled out online on the exam's official website.

Q5. Can I take all three HTET papers?
Ans.
Yes, you can take all three papers of the HTET test provided you match the BSEH's qualifying requirements.

Q6. Are there any subjective questions on the HTET exam?
Ans.
No, there are no subjective questions on the HTET exam. All of the papers are made up entirely of objective Multiple-Choice Questions.
