HPAS uses the same selection procedure as UPSC and other Public Service Commissions. The HPAS test has a three-stage selection procedure.
The Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission publishes the HPAS Cut Off Marks on their official website every year. Candidates should be aware that the cut-off marks are determined based on the number of candidates who took the test, their scores, previous years' cut-off marks, the total number of available seats, and the difficulty level of the exam. This is why the cut-off points vary from year to year. The cut-off points for each category will be different. The Expected cut-off is mentioned below:
Cut off | |
Unreserved | 101 – 108 |
OBC | 99 – 106 |
SC | 91- 98 |
ST | 80 – 85 |
Freedom Fighter’s Ward | 86 – 92 |
Ex-Servicemen | 79 – 85 |
