IGNOU Distance Education Admission Process

The Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Weaver Communities, Transgender, Inmates, and Physically Handicapped (PH) are among the reserved groups for which students may be free from paying fees or receive reimbursement, as per IGNOU University policy. After being admitted into the courses, IGNOU students from the aforementioned groups are eligible for scholarships from the Government of India. It is recommended that they get the IGNOU scholarship application form from the Office of the Social Welfare Officer or the Directorate of Social Welfare in their state. After that, to receive the required certification from the Regional Director, students must complete the IGNOU scholarship form and turn it into the Regional Director at the Regional Center, where they are enrolled in the course for which they requested admission.
