Application Process

Candidates seeking admission to West Bengal institutions must first register online for WBJEE and complete the exam application form. The application form for WBJEE may be submitted online, along with payment of the application fee. Before beginning the form-filling procedure, candidates should read the guidelines for filling out the WBJEE application form.

  • WBJEE Registration: Candidates must register on the official website to apply for WBJEE. To fill out the registration form, candidates must use their email address and register as a new user by providing information such as their name, DOB, and cell phone number. An OTP will be provided to the candidate's registered cell phone number upon successful WBJEE registration. In order to finish the WBJEE registration procedure, he/she must validate the same.
  • Complete the WBJEE application form: On the website, candidates can fill out an online application form. It is recommended that applicants carefully read the guidelines before filling out the WBJEE application form and keep a printout of the same for future reference. After properly completing and submitting the application form, applicants will be assigned a unique 7-digit WBJEE application number. This must be properly saved as proof of registration achievement. The application form for the WBJEE is broken into two sections:
    • Personal information: Enter information such as your name, date of birth, father's name, category, gender, nationality, email address, phone number, and academic credentials.
    • Exam City of Preference: Candidates must choose three desired exam cities for WBJEE .
  • Photo and signature Upload: After completing the WBJEE application form, applicants will be required to provide scanned copies of their most recent passport-size photograph and specimen signature in accordance with the standards.
  • WBJEE Application Fee: Following the successful payment of the application fee, an online receipt is issued automatically. Please save this receipt as it would be required throughout WBJEE counseling and admissions. It also serves as verification that a candidate has successfully paid the WBJEE application fee and has registered to take the joint entrance test. A confirmation page is provided following the successful completion of the WBJEE application form. It is recommended that candidates print the confirmation document and keep it for future reference.

Registration Fee:

WBJEE Application Fee can only be paid online using Net Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card. The application fee for WBJEE 2022 varies depending on the category. In addition to the application cost, there are extra Bank service charges.

Selection Process: 

  • Candidates will be chosen based on their performance in the admission test. Students who pass the test should register for online counseling sessions by paying the counseling cost using e-challan at Allahabad bank. To register for the WBJEE, candidates can go to the website. Candidates are eligible for two forms of counseling. Type 1: through WBJEE, and Type 2: By taking the JEE (Main).

Cut Off:

  • WBJEEB will publish the WBJEE Cut-off online for all rounds of counseling in the form of opening and closing ranks. WBJEEB Cut-off will be determined by a variety of elements, including the number of available seats, the marking system, the difficulty level of the WBJEE Question Paper, the number of candidates who took the test, and so on. Candidates who meet the cut-off will be admitted to their preferred WBJEE colleges. Home-state candidates or candidates from the state of West Bengal are entitled to 90 percent of the seats available through WBJEE, while candidates from other -states are only eligible for the remaining 10% of seats. Candidates who meet the WBJEE Cut off 2022 for the relevant courses and participating institutes will be assigned places in the colleges.
