  • To attend the counseling session, all candidates who have been invited must be accompanied by their parents. Call letters are mailed to the successful candidates.
  • The call letter can also be downloaded from the Internet by successful candidates.
  • Candidates are contacted for counseling in the order in which they are placed in each course.
  • Candidates are expected to produce all documents in original for verification at the time of counseling; otherwise, they will be denied admission.
  • Changes to the date or time of counseling are not permitted. However, owing to unexpected situations or unavoidable causes, an applicant may attend counseling on a different day and time within the counseling period with the prior consent of "The Chairman, SCSVMV University." This, however, is subject to the availability of seats on that particular day.
  • Candidates who do not attend the session forfeit their admission claim.
  • Unfilled seats and openings are advertised on the Internet later.

Cut Off:

The cut-off is the minimum qualifying score necessary for admission to a college. There are varying cut-offs for different courses. The cut-off is determined by the SCSVMV's concerned authority.

  • This is based on the HSC results, the top and lowest admission exam scores, the previous year's pattern, and so forth. A minimal cut-off mark or percentile is determined based on all of these considerations for admission to the university's various programs.
  • While marks in the entrance examination and the class 12th board exam are considered for ordinary UG programmes, class 12th board results coupled with scores in the All-India Sankara Engineering Entrance Exam (ASIEEE) or JEE Mains Ranking are considered for engineering courses.
