The KAS test is divided into two stages, and applicants must pass each step to advance to the next. The KAS test is divided into two stages:
Mains Exam KAS: The KAS main test is held offline at the state's approved exam centres. The format of the KAS main test is identical to that of the IAS major exam. The sole distinction is between the English Paper and the interview marks.
KAS Results: After each level of the exam, the KAS result is announced. To create a final merit list, the marks from the KAS main exam (written) and the personality test are put together. The JKPSC publishes the KAS results based on the number of vacancies. The candidates' names and roll numbers are listed in the results.
The JKPSC KAS Cut off marks serve as the primary criterion for ultimate selection to various administrative positions. The cut off points are decided by considering the different stages and features of the recruiting process. The JKPSC KAS Cut Off marks are announced individually for each category by the examination board. The KAS Cut Off is determined by the JKPSC Examination Board based on the total number of applications submitted for vacant vacancies, the level of examination, the difficulty level of the question paper, and the maximum and minimum marks acquired by various categories of applicants.
